2016 International Young Inventor Award (IYIA) is the 3rd International innovation competition that held by Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA). The event is supported by world innovation organization, International Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA) and took place at Surabaya Convention Hall, Surabaya City, Indonesia on September 6 – 8, 2016. The IYIA 2016 was participated by more than 10 countries and 600 young inventors range from elementary school to university. Countries that were participated in The IYIA 2016 such as Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Jordania, Russia, Syria, and Croatia. More than 170 inventions from various field such as technology, sains, agriculture, chemicals, medicine, education and many others were presented during the event. Participants show their invention in the form of ready-made product or prototype to all visitors and jugdges.
